After a decade in spine and orthopaedics with companies like Smith & Nephew and Stryker, Joanna moved into start-ups, spending three years developing the SpineJack business with Vexim. In 2015, she co-founded Ovidius Medical with a passion for partnering with others to improve patient outcomes and creatively educate clinicians while enjoying the entrepreneurial journey.

With over 30 years in the medical device industry, Katy co-founded her first company and in 2001 to help launch disruptive technologies in the UK & Ireland leading to a successful exit to Zimmer after 9 years. Since then, she has founded 4 other successful businesses, driven by a passion for innovation and collaboration with likeminded partners whilst putting customer service and patient outcomes at the forefront of everything she does.
